If you asked Helue as a teenager what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would have confidently answered, “Social Worker." However, God had a different plan for her and she ultimately graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Marketing from the University of Kentucky. 

After working as a computer analyst, office manager, cell phone business account salesperson (she used to own a state-of-the-art Motorola bag phone), and Verizon Wireless assistant store manager, she found herself in the beauty industry as a salon & spa manager.

In 2005, she and her cousin/best friend were given the opportunity to purchase the salon now known as BaK 4 More Studio. 

In 2021, Helue was given the opportunity to expand and BaK 4 More S2dio (see what she did there :) was founded in the Hartland Kroger center. Duplicating the style and look of the original salon allowed their guests to feel at home no matter where they went!

When Helue is not at the salon, she is either playing cards and drinking coffee with her mother (who looks younger than she does), hanging out with her four kids (she’s a pretty cool Mom), doing "construction work" (she uses that term loosely) with her husband of over 25 years or managing her event parking company (a fun side job).

Helue knows there are A LOT of hair salons in Lexington and the surrounding area and she wants YOU to know she appreciates the opportunity to serve you and your family. She is confident if you visit us once, you will be BaK 4 More!
